HNC John Duren: Nature Photography (12-14 yrs) Session 1 $25

Come learn the basics of nature photography while enjoying the beauty of the Nature Center. This two-day class will give participants a basic knowledge of the camera as well as the opportunity to practice their new skills on a live educational animal and other nature and wildlife found at the Nature Center. Learn about angles, lighting, and much more as you hike through the Nature Center in search of the perfect shot! You may use one of the JCHNC’s new cameras (bring a flash drive if you’d like to take your photos home), or you are welcome to bring your own camera if you prefer. Space is limited to 10 participants.

*Full scholarships are available for this class. To receive a scholarship (one scholarship per child), students must write three to five complete sentences about why they want to attend a particular summer adventure class, and thank the scholarship donors. Include student’s name and age.
**Scholarships cannot be applied to online registrations, so please bring your child's scholarship essay with you to register in person at the Interpretive Center.
